The market has been saved from a total collapse to some extent by the actions taken elsewhere by US and European financial institutions, which has reduced some of the negative sentiments here due to the state of the US economy, though the implication to Indian markets is more imaginary than real.  NVF has gone up this week steeply to 5.695.
